Logan came straight to us from Saint Ann's church rectory on a warm September afternoon.
From the day we got him, he was a sweet, gentle boy full of love and devotion towards his family and friends.
He loved to sleep and cuddle with his mom on her bed and was always there for her when she was not feeling well.
He never acted out when his mom forgot to clean his litter box.
During the summer months he enjoyed his leisure time out in the back yard or porch, secured to his leash. Even the few times he managed to squirm from his collar to explore further, he faithfully came home knowing we'd be worried. He usually reappeared at mom's bedroom window to let us know he was ready to come in.
Logan tolerated his human big brother's not so quiet activities with kind dignity.
He put up with us bringing home Maeve, his little sister who took over the house and was sometimes not nice to him.
Logan was forever patient and polite at mealtimes, he never was a counter hopper and he always let his little sister get first dibs.
Logan will be missed terribly but we take comfort in knowing he's in a special spot, now looking out the window from heaven. Please say a prayer for him.
